Meet the team

With over 30 years Estate Agency experience in Southwick, Shoreham and Portslade, Andrew Hyman is the founding partner of Hyman Hill. He is the driving force behind the company, as well as taking an active role in developing the business. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys spending his spare time cycling along the South Coast and playing in poker tournaments both here and abroad.

Christian is a Partner at Hyman Hill and leads our Shoreham-by-Sea office. A lifelong Shoreham resident, Christian brings over 30 years of estate agency experience and an exceptional understanding of the local property market.

His in-depth knowledge of property values in the area, combined with a reputation for honesty and professionalism, makes him a trusted advisor to clients looking to buy or sell in Shoreham and beyond.

Outside of work, Christian enjoys playing football, keeping active at the gym, walking his dog Winston, and spending time with his wife Nikki and daughter Eva.

James is a Partner at Hyman Hill and heads up our Lettings department. With extensive experience in all aspects of residential lettings, James brings a wealth of knowledge and a commitment to keeping landlords fully compliant with ever evolving legislation.

Known for his friendly demeanor, professionalism, and keen attention to detail, James ensures every property under his care is managed to the highest standard – giving landlords complete peace of mind.

Outside of work, James enjoys playing golf, carp fishing, and spending time with his wife Emma and son Dylan.

Emma is a Partner at Hyman Hill and leads our Southwick Sales office. Her estate agency career began in 1996, with a successful foundation built in London before relocating to West Sussex in 2002.

Passionate about property, Emma has been valuing homes across the local area since 2008. She is known for her proactive, hands-on approach and strong focus on client care—guiding sellers through every stage of the process with confidence and clarity.

Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending quality time with her family and has a keen eye for interiors, with a love for decorating and all things home décor

Hollie has been a valued member of the Hyman Hill team since May 2013 and plays a key role in our Lettings department. She is the main point of contact for prospective tenants, guiding them through the entire move-in process with care and efficiency.

In addition to tenant support, Hollie works closely with contractors to coordinate property repairs, ensuring maintenance issues are handled promptly and professionally. Her dedication to client service helps keep our lettings operation running smoothly, with our clients’ needs always front and centre.

Outside of work, Hollie enjoys socialising with friends and going on long-distance walks with her beloved cockapoo, Bertie.

Katie has been part of the Hyman Hill team since 2015 and now works on a part time basis, having recently taken the first steps toward a well earned retirement.

Based at our Southwick office, Katie brings over 35 years of estate agency experience and a lifetime of local knowledge, having lived in Shoreham all her life.

Friendly, approachable, and deeply passionate about helping people, Katie thrives in a role that allows her to meet new faces every day and assist clients in finding their forever homes.

Outside of the office, Katie enjoys socialising with friends and her large family, especially spending time with her granddaughters, Heidi and Tilly.

With over 13 years of experience in property sales, Ben joined the Hyman Hill team in 2015 and is based at our Shoreham branch. As a Sales Negotiator, Ben is known for his friendly, approachable nature and professional attitude, making him a natural at helping clients find the right property – whether it’s a first move or a forever home.

Ben builds lasting relationships with buyers and sellers alike, always aiming to make the moving process smooth and enjoyable.

Outside of work, Ben is a passionate sports fan, especially when it comes to American Football. He also enjoys spending time with his young family and his French Bulldog, Stamford – named after Chelsea’s iconic stadium as he is a massive fan.

Hayley originally joined Hyman Hill in 2014 and, after taking a break to start a family, returned to the team in 2020 on a part-time basis. As our Lettings Administrator, Hayley plays a crucial behind-the-scenes role—ensuring landlords remain fully compliant by managing safety certificate renewals, invoicing, and general administration.

Her attention to detail and strong organisational skills help keep the lettings process running smoothly and efficiently.

Outside of work, Hayley enjoys staying active at the gym, spending quality time with her two daughters, and socialising with friends

Nettie joined Hyman Hill in October 2021 and brings with her over 20 years of local knowledge, having lived in Southwick for two decades. As part of our dedicated viewing team, Nettie thoroughly enjoys meeting applicants and showing them properties across the area, helping them envision their next move.

This is Nettie’s first role in the property sector, following a successful career in recruitment sales, HR management, and training. Her personable nature and strong communication skills make her a fantastic asset to the team.

A well-known face in the local community, Nettie has many years of experience performing in and directing for local theatre groups. Outside of work, she enjoys walking her dog Betty, keeping fit at the gym, and unwinding with friends over a glass of wine.

Based at our Southwick office, Harry joined the Hyman Hill team in 2024 to begin his career in estate agency. With a background in car sales, he quickly proved his natural flair for sales and brings a fresh enthusiasm for property to the role.

Harry is approachable, motivated, and eager to help clients find the right home, making him a great addition to the team.

Outside of work, Harry enjoys socialising with friends – often at the pub – and is a keen football fan. A proud season ticket holder at The Amex, he never misses a Brighton & Hove Albion match, whether he’s watching or playing the game himself

Helen is the newest member of our Lettings team, having joined Hyman Hill in March 2025. With prior experience in lettings and property management, she quickly became a valuable addition to the department.

Helen’s day-to-day responsibilities include arranging viewings, agreeing new lets, and ensuring everything is in place for a smooth tenancy start. Her

approachable nature and attention to detail make her a great support for both landlords and tenants.

Outside of work, Helen enjoys spending time with her husband, socialising with friends, and looking after her beloved cat, Milly.

Katie is the newest member of the Hyman Hill team, having joined us in June 2025. Since day one, Katie has made a fantastic impression with clients thanks to her warm, friendly demeanour and genuine enthusiasm for helping people find the right home. As part of our viewing team, Katie loves meeting potential buyers and guiding them through properties with care and confidence. Outside of work, Katie loves to source vintage and decorative pieces for her home and is currently creating a naturalistic country style garden.
